HomeGoods store to open at Governor's Square Mall
HomeGoods to open at Governor's Square Mall
- Jun 30, 2022
A HomeGoods Retail store will open in the old Sears Department Store building next door to the Burlington Clothing store that occupies the other half of the building at Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville.
Joe Bell, spokesman for the Cafaro Company, which operates Governor’s Square Mall, said there is no timeline on the store’s opening at this point since Governor’s Square Mall does not own the building space.
“We’re glad to see it coming,” Bell said. “It will be a good opening of a good store. It really has a good product line.”
Bell said HomeGoods does well in some of the other markets Cafero operates.
HomeGoods was introduced in 1992 and operates across the U.S. including Puerto Rico.
The chain of stores has both a standalone and superstore format, which couples HomeGoods with a T.J. Maxx or Marshalls.
HomeGoods also operates an e-commerce site, homegoods.com, which launched in 2021.
